Copypasta'ing from this thread...
Another idea I had, thanks to Epic Mafia: the Ultimate Larry Round. Typical Mafia game with one exception... Larry Butz is hiding somewhere in the game He is a fool. If Larry can get himself killed before another faction can claim victory, he wins, and everyone else loses!

I thought about it in the shower, and I think I actually have a good idea for turning this into CR MAFIA FOOD FIGHT.
All right, so, it'd be a round without HPs or Evidence. Players have to be a multiple of three. Everyone is publicly ID'd as Vanilla, Chocolate, or Strawberry. There are six or nine Mafiosos, three with Roles, three or six without. I am not sure how many Townies there are, but it would be a multiple of three, with three as Roles. And there would be three Solos, like Wildcards except they have their own win conditions and cannot affiliate.
There are three lynches a day, one of each flavor. If three regular Townies are lynched, Mafia gets no hit. If three regular Mafiosos are lynched, Mafia gets an extra hit.
The Delicious Townie Roles are Ema Skye, who can investigate one player a Night, Guy Eldoon, who can block one hit a night if he predicts it correctly (or revive one player a night, if you guys wanna do it that way), and Maya Fey, who takes either Ema's or Eldoon's role if one dies while she's still alive.
The Starving Mafia Roles are Dick Gumshoe, who can investigate one player a Night, Jean Armstrong, who looks like a Townie, and Maggey Byrde, who takes either Gumshoe's or Jean's role if one dies while she's still alive.
Solo number one is Angel Starr. She's the one serving all this, and loves the big appetites of the Roles. She can investigate one player a night. She wins if all Unroled players die before she does.
Solo number two is Phoenix Wright. He's the one paying for all this, and hates the big appetites of the Roles. Phoenix is immune to lynches and hits, but dies if an entire day and night go by without a Role death. He wins if all other Roles die before he does.
Solo number three is Godot. He has no special abilities or affiliation. He just wins if he's alive at the end of the game.
... I have no idea how this would turn out as a real round. xD;

Anyway, getting back on topic, I had this idea for a Death Note-themed round, but the balancing issues between roles and vanillas, as well as other factions would take away too much time that I don't have right now. I was hoping to do something a little different that went along with Kira and L's game of cat-and-mouse. Oh well, maybe later.

I was planning a round, and went "Wow, there's lots of spoilers just in the role creation". Then I got a brilliantly half-baked idea:
Have a round with roles, but do not tell which faction the roles belong to.
EDIT: Anybody thinks this is a good idea? Thoughts? I really want some feedback on this.
